This video was the camera mount testing for New York Motor Club's Superformance MIII Cobra. The car was the 1 Lap of America winner in 2001 and has a NASCAR spec 600hp roush V8 built by snakepit automotive.
Absolutely love the color, and the candor of the driver. "How's the turning radius?" "Shitty". Finally, somebody calls it like it is. Every video I've seen of these cars trying to make tight turns, it looks like someone trying to parallel park a speedboat.
When I was a kid I got to ride in a black one that was very similarly prepared, although I dont think it could run on 93 octane. It was a beast, nice nostalgia rush from the video. Nothing like a big block and some good american torque...
