  • I feel that Bernstein was on of the greatest musical genius' to have lived. Everything he touched he left an indelible mark. I was extremely fortunate to have played under his leadership for several years in the early 70's. I even had many opportunities to hang out with him. Just being in the midst of greatness is extremely humbling. Bernstein was bigger than life. I know many complain of his tempi of antic ont the podium. Ever hear of artistic license? That's what made Lenny Lenny.

  • One of the best conductor in the century - Salute to Leonard Bernstein

  • 'What the Flowers on the Meadow Tell Me' - an earlier name for this movement by Mahler. The huge first movement was 'Pan Awakes, Summer Marches In'.
