This is a brand new, 2010 model year CRV, with the 180hp 2.4L engine. However, this run was done with less than 800km on the car, and I certainly feel like it's not representative of the car's potential because it hasn't been fully broken in yet. It took about 11 seconds to get to 60mph, but I've looked up road tests, and it should take 9 seconds or less. If I get a chance to drive the car again, I can do another run after the engine's been broken in.
Otherwise, it's a very competent and even sporty feeling SUV. There was no clue that I was driving something tall, except for the ride height, as it seemed to handle more like a heavier Civic than a SUV.

  • Yikes, that's painfully slow

  • @stanbernadino

I drove a similar CR-V with about a thousand more kilometres on the odometre, and it felt noticeably quicker.

  • @motormusique believe**

  • @motormusique I don't belive it

  • I can do it in like 10 seconds. . . Mine was just 2.0 i-vtec. . . .

  • @FordFanatic59 It's actually a nice car. Everything seems well thought out and very intuitive. I wouldn't want one but it is a decent car that I wouldn't mind driving on a long trip.

  • Needs shorter gear ratios! It has a peppy 2.4 liter engine!

  • ye i drove my mom's 2011 crv, acceleration is so shitttttt lol

  • Seems like a new Honda to me. They arent the fastest (even though this one needs to complete its break in cycle) and their interiors are horrid.

  • haha my jeep which only has a little more hp is so much faster

  • The newer CRV's are probably one of the worst cars i've ever driven. I'd be more comfortable being stabbed in the back multiple times than sitting in the pieces of cardboard Honda calls seats.

  • @immortal4942 not bad for the converter itself. not bad enough to bother about anyway. it heats up your trans fluid, and this not being a performance car, it probably cant dissipate that heat well enough.
