While I am a small "c" conservative, my time in the Peace Corps really gave me a better appreciation of how good we have it here in the States. We're not inherently better, but just more fortunate. Those words don't really hit home until you get the chance to see how the other half lives.

  • i get your point... im from ukraine and we moved to the us when i was 4... and i completly understand by life being simpler. it feels as if the day there is longer and... idk, and i also try to feel bad but i cant really becouse i know that i came from that pretty much...

  • Hey bro... pretty cool vblog... been watching some of your peace corps and politics videos, keep posting man... I completely agree with your vision, and I think that the world would be a better place if people did just that... unfortunately, there's so much cynicism in America about human nature, people don't wanna lend a hand in fear of getting in some sort of trouble or danger, or they just don't like other people... but I guess it starts with us... keep posting... jon
