  • @etbuk

hai ragione, provvedo a correggere. Grazie

  • Dear Ralph..I have more question than answers...

Charles is very intelligent, he is really human, more human than other. He is true, really true in a world that become more and more false.

I think that the Redemption touch Charles when he stay in the floor of the church and listen monteverdi with the drug friend. This is a very religious scene!

But Charles wanted Redemption? He is without hope? i don't know..and probably I think that Bresson doesn't know too.

  • Charles is desperate?...probably, I don't really know...

But this film is not desperate...bresson film are not desperate or dark...in every film of Bresson appeare the Grace...the Grace caress Charles later, in an other passage of the film...and probably with his suicide Charles has an extreme try to jump in the Grace...or probably he is totally desperate like Jude in the Gospel...i don't know...

Bresson is a genius...great great great Bresson..
