Katie Couric is laying it on a big thick, with her sombre demenour. She certainly did a poor job getting Bush to committ to initiatives helping the mentally ill, instead of just unleashing them into society where they committ these kinds of acts. He is also non committal about gun control, seemingly no matter what transpires in his country. What is it going to take. For his daughters to be shot, though I doubt that would change a thing for the Bushes.
