  • cool!

  • @TanyaRocksTheWorld Nusrat Fateh ali khan

  • @eyeofbeholder1 Eye of beholder, Ilove that movie!!!!

    and I love devendra music......

  • Not even Nusrat could cover Nusrat.. that's pretty funny.

  • @TanyaRocksTheWorld Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.. he was a Pakistani man who sang devotional Sufi songs and was a ridiculously amazing singer. Jeff loved him. Check out "Yeh Jo Halka Halka Saroor Hai" from Live at Sin-e to hear Jeff's interpretation. Its incredible.

  • Whenever I listened to Devendra, I always swore I heard a Jeff Buckley influence. Now I know why. I love Jeff, and DB. Both such beautiful souls. I love how Devendra talks about Jeff as if Jeff were still alive, because in all honesty, Jeffs spirit is very much alive in my soul, and millions of others. He may not be physically here, but he will always be in my heart, forever<3

  • Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

  • The cover was Yeh Jo Halka Halka Saroor Hai, by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, a Pakistani qawalli singer. Qawalli is a type of praise music, Nusrat was an unbelievable singer and you can hear his influence in the majority of Buckley's songs, both vocally and structurally.

  • I was totally there... I watched him in a candle lit room with Jeff Buckley's Mom in LA, four-hundred and thirty miles from home. Hella.

  • @TanyaRocksTheWorld I was seriously there and the last band that played covered a Nusrat Fateh Ali Kahn song! Not Yeh Jo Halka Soor Hah, but another one! It was really killer and there was all acoustic guitars and volunteers from the conservatory of music! So good. And I watched Devendra play in a candle lit room with jeff buckley's Mom : )
