Kasama Srimok 90 electric RC helicopter (capable of 200kph apparently)

This is Wayne's Kasama Srimok electric RC heli. It runs on 12-cell Turnigy Nanotech lipos (2 6-cell packs) and has over 5KW peak output power.

He's just babying it in this video as it's only his third flight -- and the batteries last longer if you don't thrash them from new.

Apparently this RC heli is capable of speeds around 200Kph, although it wasn't going that fast on this day. Stay tuned though, Wayne's a regular at the field and I'm picking it won't be long before he wrings it out to see just how fast it really will go.

Why did you gave up helis? I remember those time when gyro were not used or used but mechanical gyro they were. Now helis are built a lot better and technology is way advance now. Flybarless is the future and walkera already have flybarless heli that fly like a coax helis. :)

@jcer93705 Yeah, I started heli-flying with a Kalt Cyclone 1 and Kalt Cyclone 2 (.60 powered). I had a Futaba mechanical gyro (actually had a spinning flywheel in it). Unfortunately, I got busy with work and sold them because I never had the time to fly. Now that I'm back into the hobby, I can afford to buy more fixed-wing stuff for the same $ -- especially when crashes are taken into account ;-) (Not that I've ever crashed of course)!

My ROFLCopter goes soi soi soi soi soi soi soi soi soi soi! Awesome. Top heli and sweet flying, I can hover but as soon as go past hover I get to excited/panic and crash, I have taken a 6 month break from heli flying but I have 2 repaired collective helis rdy to crash! I just wish they where as easy to fly as the MSR.

At the moment i have it timed for 5 minutes and like the flight shown it uses 2300mah from a 4500mac nanotech 35C lipo.
