'Anglo-Saxon Heritage' Remark By Romney Adviser

"An adviser to Mitt Romney told a London paper that Obama has not been an effective partner for Britain because he doesn't "fully appreciate" America's "Anglo-Saxon heritage"...".* Taken together with previous comments, it appears the Romney campaign is not 'one of us' and blowing a racial dog whistle. Most English people do not appreciate foreigners with no real clue about us using the name of our heritage for race-baiting purposes. Especially when the target they're implying isn't Anglo-Saxon enough, is the one with an English mother. If the aid who made the comment really "understood our shared Anglo-Saxon heritage" or cared about the UK, they'd know only ONE country in the union is Anglo-Saxon, and they'd know not to insult the Celtic nations by ignoring them or implying that they are too.
