@taratasarar ehm, what the lack of such religion does is it let's the greedy be greedy and the genius be genius and the artist be artist and so on, yields both 'good' and 'bad'. Stalin was a pathetic weakling on a throne, know that. "God is the essence of logical and moral inquiry", feudalism doesn't seem at all to reflect morality, not to me.

@philjdaniels "I find that there is a level of intolerance directed at Christians." Nobody is banning the freedom of belief and expression of Christians. There should be intolerance to them thrusting their beliefs on others, especially children.

..and their ideologies were definetly influenced by a lack of belief in God.. We can't just look away from the influence of a lack of belief in God; ESPECIALLY in a world were God is the very essence of logical and moral inquiery.

I find that there is a level of intolerance directed at Christians. I agree with you about the fact that we are all intolerant in our ways. But at the heart of our democracy is the principle that " I may not agree with your views, beliefs or attitudes, but I defend your right to express them." And your theoretical racist would never find a place in society because he would be out casted by consensus.
