i just used another one of your videos to get an old Fretboard of a guitar neck for my New Neck through Build becouse im useing it as i dont believe i have the skill to make a fret board and now iv seen this Thank you so much you help is incredible! i was wondering what your advice on finishing with a non toxic clear coat for funiture becouse im building in my school wood shop and in australia we dont have the most amazing paints Is it possible? Thanks i must thanks you over and over!

For a double-action truss rod accessible at the peg head, do you have to have the filler strip of wood?

Hi there, just a quick question...is the shim glued to the top of the truss rod and the sides of the channel?

Great video, just a quick question. Does the single action truss rod tighten the neck or does it loosen it? I'm talking about a strat that has its bolt at the heel of the neck. Thank you!

@ejSignStrat Single way or one way truss rods are for counter-reacting the tension of the strings. Which means they only "tighten"the neck as you put it. Double action truss rods go both ways.
