Buried Facilities Locator - Survey

A Seismic Buried Facilities Locator:
• uses information and maps from oil companies, as well as fi eld evidence to determine the location of buried pipelines, cables, and other utilities
• uses specialized equipment to find, track, and mark pipelines and buried utilities of all kinds
• Responsible for finding and documenting all pipelines and other utilities in the area of the seismic job
• Responsible for the training and safety of the locator's helper

A valid driver's license is an asset and may be required by some companies in order to obtain employment. Potential candidates should also be aware that a driver's abstract may be required. It should also be noted that some companies will require drug and alcohol testing prior to employment
