Un nuovo metodo per vaporizzare l'alcohol. Il bullone è all'interno dell'ovatta. Appena si arroventa con una fiamma starter, il metallo riscalda l'alcohol, che vaporizzando, attraversa le rondelle piatte e zigrinate (leggermente più larghe del bullone) e si infiamma. La fiamma stessa, mantenendo bollente il metallo, favorisce l'evaporazione forzata dell'alcohol e si autosostiene. In definitiva un sistema interessante adatto per piccoli esperimenti, ma che sto elaborando per applicazioni più grandi.

could you give us the instructions for how to make this? when i tried, i had to use some more cotton to guide the alcohol up to the washers and had to replace the cotton every time because the cotton burned. so how did you make yours?

La boccetta è piccola e anche la fiamma è piccola.
Per cui la durata si aggira intorno ai 3 minuti.

Una volta riempita la boccetta di alcohol, le rondelle vanno scaldate (o meglio arroventate) con un accendino. Non appena il calore si tramette (attraverso il bulloncino) nella boccetta, l'acohol (riscaldato) comincerà ad evaporare fuoriuscendo dalla rondella zigrinata posta fra le due rondelle grandi. I vapori prendono fuoco e la fiamma si autosostiene.

What amount of heat is it putting out? how long to boil? seems sort of large and unfeasible for lightweight backpacking
