If people want to go to Dallas and be treated like farm stock, then that's what they deserve. In the past few months I have seen Armin Van Buuren in Austin and Paul Okenfold in San Antonio. Their performances were much better than Tiesto's and the patrons were treated like people.
As soon as it cleared out, the bouncers opened the doors and let more people in. It seemed the name of the game was let get the money, let people in, run them off, get more money and let more people in. By the way, the bouncers were all black. Get it? Yuppies are afraid of black people, so get black people to herd them around. Nothing like a little racism to make an unpleasant situation even more unpleasant.
His was really lame, and the venue sucked. I'm sure the number of people there violated the fire codes. It was dangerously hot and the bouncers kept herding the people together rather than let them move to less crowded spaces. They closed the doors and would not let people go outside to cool off and then come back in. People were taking off their shirts and some collapsed. Eventually, people started leaving.
I don't know. Maybe for the crowd it did. But Tiesto hated San Antonio. He kept mixing into songs and going backstage for a bit. He hated the crowd, and he hated the city. That's why he's not going back this year on his ISOS 6 Tour in the Summer.
