Okay, currently, I'm using a program something called Xfire. It has a built in video recording program, but the problem is...it sucks. The quality of the video tends to be too choppy (maybe I might have not set up the right settings). I tried setting the FPS (frames per second) to 25, 30, 60 respectfully as I shown here in this video. Needdless to say, all of them have some choppiness into it.
I need a new video recording program for playing Guild Wars and it must be the following:
-easy to use without a lot of config screwing
-allow to record audio directly in-game while playing
-best quality and not choppy
-free without limitations.
Stuff that you guys should NOT suggest:
-FRAPS: the quality of this program is the best, but the sucky part is that the free version have a 30 second limit. If you want to remove that limit, you need to buy the full-version, which is around $30. I'm not going to spend 30 dollars for a screenrecording program. And besides, I want to buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Lucky Star complete collection, and Haruhi Suzumiya complete collection.
-Camstudio: I tried using that program. The quality is decent and it isn't choppy. However, the problem is that no matter the sound setting, I just unable to get the audio from the computer to record.
-HyperCam: don't get me started there.
Apparently, this is why I haven't been recording a lot of Guild Wars videos lately. The game/video recording program that I use sucks.
