Ed Ireland doesn't live in Denton, where he supports drilling. Denton has some of the highest pollution levels in Texas, so its not surprising that Ed doesn't want to live there.
An excellent video by Dr.Ed Ireland on Barnett Shale.Shale gas is potential future of energy of US,Canada and world over.We have to consider its environmental aspects and work for it for a Clean and Green energy for generations to come.

Ed Ireland has a PHD in Economics. Why do they not provide the MSDS sheets on the Barnett Shale Education Council Website and the ratios to water? What about the tons of toluene, benzene, POTASH, Antifreeze, solvents, petroleum distillates (which is oil).that is added to the water?if you have ever heard this very loud rumbling underground noise very early in the morning coming from one of their sites, it sounds similar to a jet taking off, except that it is underground.
Seriously? Apparently, Ed Not Scientist Ireland has never been anywhere near a gas well drilling operation. If he did, he couldn;t be saying that it doesn't pollute the air and water. He just keeps saying, like his Industry pals, that's there's no documented cases of ground water contamaination. There are, in fact, dozens upon dozens of them, and that's just on the Barnett Shale. My property happens to be one of them.
