The Amiga was a rather bizarre computer with an even more bizarre list of games that could rival Japan's PC Engine. But sometimes there came the odd darkly humorous game bordering on social commentary, especially when it starts with a hill full of graves, each with an individual name, and a shed with recruits filing on in at the bottom of it.
Cannon Fodder, a real-time strategy war-game, was one of those games ported to many consoles and only remembered by those on the PC scene back in the early 90s, but nevertheless, it offered plenty of fun in the name of war, the theme song summing it all up in a rather satirical manner.
What kind of madman would TRULY believe that war is actually fun? But this is a game, not a war, right?
Amiga ain't a console, but a computer than ran on disks. It connected me with video games.
As for the song... war's satire at its best.
