Idea/Jam in Dm - Danelectro dead on '67 guitar

I was picking today and came upon a nice chord progression. Hope you dig it.

I'm thinking about getting one of these and not really sure how it is compared to a fender tele in quality. Any opinions? Easy to play?

I think it depends on what kind of fender you buy, made in mexico or america etc A fender will probably always be of higher build quality and I think it will last longer.

This thing is made in china and I think it will vary in quality with each guitar.

IMO Danelectro's are ingeniously designed and have a very distinct sound. The one I got plays like a dream. I haven't touched the bridge hight and thruss rod which is a first for me.
