why would you support proton, we malaysians hate proton, they're a blood sucking company producing substandard products and selling them at higher prices than competition. the only reason they're cheaper than the comp in malaysia is because of the stupid tax advantages

Malaysian cars aren't too bad I think, but, yes, I totally agree with the top gear team with their frustration regarding the quality of the design. Potential changes will happened if the design issue was under more serious consideration for these companies. I am a car designer and I have noticed a few major design drops and mistakes in proton cars particularly and I went to proton design by my self and met the VE Styling himself to offer my skills and my suggestions for their future styling pro

LOL now I know why 'Top Gear' was banned from NTV7 just before this episode was scheduled to air. Malaysians might not be able to face the truth. They should have put those things through an 'accident test'! Can you say "tin milo"? I know I can!

Brainless "management" impose high tax for CAR!!!!!!!!!! We been forced to purchase nation car because we only afford to have a nation car..! damn proton release since 1985 or 1987? I have forgot, nvm. 20years++ have passed!!! Proton is already 2xyears old, but still need protection from government.. DAMN!

Im Dutch and have been living in Malaysia for 15 years. and i must say, proton is an amazing car. I still own a saga 1985 and encountered no problems with it whatsoever :)
