American River Bicycle Trail, Part 1

BykGrl presents two interesting and informative videos for bicyclists about the trail along the American River from West Sacramento to Folsom, in Northern California. These two videos cover how to get to the trail, the main trail points, difficulty of ride, scenic points of interest, animals and other sites along the road.

my grandpa lived on the American River when he was a kid in a place called "Brighton". They say the town doesn't exist anymore, perhaps you're familiar with it- it was a train station where his dad worked as a telegrapher and station agent. I've always wanted to see the spot- taking the bike trail might take me there...it looks like a nice place for a Winwood beach cruiser.
