Playful moments offer the chance to see past definitions that structure how we think about and see the world. While on a search at a fabric store, looking for material for some other project, I came across a bit of blue material that took hold of me and asked me to move it slowly. It is possible to transform anything and all definitions are constructions of the mind.

@sun3160 I thought the exact same thing. It doesnt necissarily neeed it per say, but I too would like to see a little more connection between the two stages of the fabric's "life" and "death" if you will. When I was watching it I was hoping to see some sort of trigger get switched when it lowered past a certain point.
I love how the fabric looks like its melting to the floor!

I love how the sound of the machines makes a sort of a soundtrack to the kinetic motion..

Very sensual.
I would like it even better if the fan switch was controlled by the rising fabric: when the fabric is carried too high by the fan, the switch shuts off, when it falls too far to the floor, the switch turns on.

its art, you dont have to "get it"
its just meant to makee you think or react to it somehow
clearly this particular piece makes you feel confused, think about this in a wider context, ie arent we all confused, doesnt everyone have some kind of gaping hole inside of them? why does our society make us feel like this? etc etc........
congrats, you have just appreciated a piece of art.
