The Graphic Truth

Graphic Truth behind overdose deaths, addiction, drugs, & alcohol. The ever-increasing rate of youth/teen fatalities within U.S. has caused our school system to seek out a group of recovering health care providers...when it comes to what teenagers do on weekends or with their friends, they simply do not listen to authority figures...but they will listen to us. Parents are no longer interested in cute slogans or theoretical ideas at the expense of their children's lives.
Our "live" school to school presentations contain very graphic video re-enactments of the real consequences of drug/alcohol abuse, a colorful animation illustrating what occurs in our brain when the addiction process begins, hosted by young people who have experienced the anguish of addiction and have climbed their way back to sobriety. Additionally, we have included a 1 minute clip from Dr. Daniel Amen's recent discovery that drugs or alcohol can cause permanent damage to the developing brains of young people. Student surveys have indicated that The Graphic Truth is truly the only effective prevention program to date, and have exceeded previous efforts from "just say no" to "D.A.R.E" and everything in between by 90% in credibility, presentation, and overall retention.
