Sonic's universe is thrown into chaos when a mysterious new power comes into force, creating 'time holes' which take Sonic and his friends back in time. While there, Sonic runs into some very familiar characters from his past including a younger, classic version of himself! Now they must defeat their enemies, save their friends, and find out who is behind this diabolical deed.

I've always hated how he calls himself Eggman.
Anyone who grew up on Genesis/Mega Drive, then played Sonic Adventure should understand exactly what I mean, seeing as he was Robotnik, but Sonic started calling him Eggman as an insult to his weight, baldness and egg shape. So why the hell would he call himself Eggman? Either Sonic Team seriously just forgot this important tidbit, or "Eggman" has some serious self respect issues he needs to work on.
