hey is there a specific webos version you have to be on to get preware? I have an original palm pre for sprint and it's on 1.4.5. Can I get preware on that version?

My Palm Pre is no longer a phone, but useful in many other ways. Do you need phone service in order to do all this? (So far I used the wi-fi and still was able to get to the App Catalog)

@mlwy45 as long as you have internet connection you should be able to do this just fine. so if you can still use wifi on yours then you should be all good to go :)

HELP HELP!!!!! every time i try to download someting off preware it starts to download it and stops and says System adjustments must be made before instalation can continue and it asks me to restart it and even if i do when the pre restarts and i click on preware it then tells me that the hone was inturupted bla blah blah point is that i need help to get this thing running plez!!!!

@acmkid1 hmm thats weird. ive never seen that. has it just started doing that? or has it always done that? also, right now i would suggest possibly just uninstalling preware and then reinstalling it. ill look into it and see if i can get a better answer for you.

Help!! I installed the preware but did not see the packaage manager service I then rebooted using

and left the usb attached to the computer.

I the phone we now not turn on at all?
