The rocks found in Australia are so old that we cannot put a date or number on them. Australia is the oldest country in the world and the aborigines are indigenous to her. I have been amongst the aborigines all my life namely with the 'Martu Milli' which means 'Black people' who live in the Great Sandy Desert and there is no other tribe anywhere in the world which has that name and mystically they are very powerful and humble.

then maori king was picked, for the maori an had to be hiden in land wars from english. could go on all day. but thats the only reason why we have wot we got, te reo been back in school for only 20years. that was war fear, stoping our reo an the rest so we would not stand up an keep as in line. i know what you mean about the flu, an we would of got it sum how but all ways been told english were to blame, bringing dogs, rats an leting them ran free. knowing what it would do to us.

so for the frist time thanks to the english we came together and kicked ass at war fear, but nearly lost every thing with there ways. only reason why maori are how we are is cause of the ones b4 us stood up. end of the day we were to young of a race to deal with the world we knew nothing of, land race between u.k, france, japan. we are a lucky race an the only one with a treaty. lucky england were fighting wars an had to give us treaty, or we would of been speeking french, jap, or been wipe out

@alstar70 P.S. I used those photos because they are over 100 years old, so have the advantage of being out of copyright, and guaranteed that they are full blood aborigines. And as the Maori tradition said, they decided to wipe them out because they viewed them as people without a Whaka papa (oral family history). I suppose its ok today the same NZ government forces all children regardless of race to learn Maori???
yes know all that, just wasnt nga puhi was many iwi that done that. but in heaps of cases when they done these trades they didnt live up to what they said like the treaty.once in whanau signing land over to crown. we were having iwi wars before english came, hone whanau got guns to kill off iwi an thought he could deal with english also with land an owner ship az years went buy all iwi saw that the english back then were two face. so that starts war. they couldnt win with the gun so used the pen

@karnage878 No I didn't heard about that one. I have several ancestors that fought on
the other side - Alexander McNEIL (Waikato campaign - NZ medal) Patrick
GILLELAY - Northland war - 58th Regt., and others. I'll look into the
thing by James Belich - no I didn't' see it. We can only avoid the
mistakes of the past if we learn from history, those who want to hide it
shame us all. Its amazing how many "car crashes" and "plane crashes", etc
happen to those who go against the status quo.

@alstar70 I think if it wasn't for the Internal war and diseases and if the Maori's had of united into one confederation like some of the missionaries were encouraging them to do, the British Empire would have never been able to colonise New Zealand. History turned out different. I believe in equality no matter a person's race and feel many try to use "white guilt" for their own political agenda to benefit themselves, and not to benefit everyone - they are still trying to divide and conquer us
