Love your vid. I always thought Aphrodite was in love with Gabrielle. Only unlike Aries with Xena she knew how to bow out gracefully.

@shymoon07 well the back and forth was part of their charm. I just believe the act of giving up his godhood was selfless, I don't think he expected anything in return other than her respect.

@MelsRamblings The following episodes: Old Ares had a Farm, You are There, (even though its lighter than the first two) Path of Vengeance, and Soul Possession (definitely). But like I said he was still cool and Xena cared about what happen to him but she knew he was bad for her.

@shymoon07 I don't think so. I never saw him try and pursue Xena after losing his Godhood. Xena kissed him in Coming Home, Ares never initiated it and when she said they couldn't be together he accepted it and left even after he was just driven mad.

@MelsRamblings Yes he did to save Xena so he'd have another chance with her. Don’t get me wrong I love Ares but he’d do anything to get Xena.

@thunderboy1992 Hi there, I can tell you which scene came from where if you give me the time count from the video otherwise in terms of the series Xena Warrior Princess Aphrodite only cast a love spell on Genia in season 6, in the episode "Many Happy Returns". I think she cast more on the Hercules series :)
