I don't think you have much to worry about. I doubt if the EU will pick a citizen of a country that has opted out of so many aspects of the EU. As regards the Irish second vote, the EU did not decide to hold a second referendum, the Irish parliament did. It was democratic. The Irish had the right to say no again; they just didn't. You people below should respect the right of the Irish people to change their mind on the Lisbon Treaty.

yes we have to vote as many times till they have the result they want and in the eu ...they only had to vote for one man...for..baroso ..there was not second person....never happend before..people should wake up and see what is going on around us..there are lot of things we should question about..tony blair is part of the bilderberg group...so we will see him again in the eu parlament.. thats how the games they play are....payed by ..our tax money..!!

Im surprised that Blair has not had any attempt on his life yet, youd have htought he would have been assassinated long ago especially during his tours of the middle east, why didnt the fighter jets shoot his plane ou of the sky when they had chance? great opportunites missed.

When Blair left the PM job we had a sigh of relief, but as a parting shot he set himself up for this EU President job all the way back then. Brown was on the phone to him telling him not to sell out Britain but he went on and did it. The first time we attacked Iraq was wrong as well, Kuwait was stealing oil by side drilling Iraq oil fields so Saddam was right to fight back invading Kuwait. The US gave Kuwait the drilling gear and provoked the war.
