  • This looks cool, but keys look complicated. I use xmonad.

  • In general you just type 'Ctrl + t' followed by some other key for most commands.

'Ctrl + t' is your prefix key which can be changed/set in your ~/.stumpwmrc

  • That's way cooler than all those Compiz/Beryl videos out there :D

  • This would be bad ass for Forex. You could have one view for 15 10 and 5 minute graphs and a second for the Macd and a third for the 1 minute and 15

  • You should do narration.

  • This is really cool but what kind of activities is this best for?

  • @ndarkduck i agree

  • I love the music. Where can I find it?

  • @masterjau -

i liked ion3 from what i saw of it (namely the tabbed/tiling) , i might have to try it again, but i always find these things can put you in a situation where you don't know which key to press to recall the help even :) i'm not a VIM user either, the unix key choices are very alien to me sadly.. ultimately i'd like to customize my own but I just discovered tiling added to KWin,

  • @walter0bz: there is one, it's called ion3. It is unfortunately no longer developed, but it's fully functional, I use it every day. It is very mouse and keyboard friendly and very customisable too.

  • would be nice to have a tiling wm that is easier to learn from mouse , drag tabs between frames etc, i do like the tiling windowmanagers i've just never got into learning a new keylayout. I liked the tiled windowing in the old Brief text editor, i probably still have those keypresses burned into my brain, i guess you might be able to emulate that. I liked the feature of being able to have a window on more than one layout from awesome, but again could never permanently remember keys..

  • @ndarkduck I discovered that if you watch it with minitube, it's slightly higher resolution and you can easily read all the commands (though you may need to pause for the fast one).

  • I still use ratpoison.

  • why does everyone need bad music over everything? I'd like to watch this, but I can't stand the terrible music.
