Jac Cuyten breeds English budgies since 1964 and is one of the most experienced budgergar breeder in the hobby.
His way of breeding and the results of this methods,appeals to the imagination of budgerigar breeders from around the World.His birds have a very characteristic powerful type.Neck,shoulders and head shape forming a specific whole.The feathering running out from the cheeks and the so called buffalo effect is visible in almost all his birds.In this film you get a very good overview of the total stud,focusing on breeding pairs,youngsters in various stages of development and breeding and showbirds.Especially the close ups,wich show in detail the so-called head studies give a beautiful picture of the possiblities that budgie breeding offers.Jac Cuyten froms since 2008 a partnership with his friends Clement Raymeakers and Jef Smets.In this movie I will try to look in the future of our wonderfull hobby.
