I grew up in Worcester, Mass. in the 70's & 80's and Aerosmith was everywhere. They always had a unique sound of their own. No other band ever sounded quite like or did it quite like Aerosmith did it. Aerosmith remain the greatest American rock band to ever step foot onto a stage. No American band before or since has even come close.

When I was 15yrs. old my oldest brother (he was 20)took me to this concert 6th. row for christmas! he gave the rest of my family Blawkhawk tickets. We are from Chicago,big hawk fans. He knew I would rather have this concert. Got me a tshirt and made it a nite have never forgotten. We stood on the backs of our chairs at the Ampitheatre!(Its been closed for your years). But for that one nite as a teenager I knew I was witnessing rock n roll history. His scarves almost smacked my face!!!!!!!

F that, the best american band is either the Allman bros, the Doors, or the Grateful Dead. Those were guys who could handle their drugs while playing a live show

@kelborn24 ctnd. If u listen to how he sings 70s & blues songs live right now, his vocals are diff. on those songs than say Dude Looks Like A Lady or Love In An Elevator. Today he sings old old songs w/ a deeper, raspier voice & more bluesy. But he doesn't quite capture his 25-37 yr-old voice b/c nowadays his bluesy voice can't seem to get that 70s/early 80s younger voice. He's 63! If u listen carefully to the '78 "Come Together" along a 2010 live one u hear the difference. It's not a bad thing.
