This is my final piece for the 2nd year Digital Revolution project, based on the topic of 'Convergence'.

In celebration of Darwin's 150th anniversary of releasing "Origin of Species", I wanted to focus on the theme of evolution.

Created using scanned brush pen drawings then animating on Adobe After Effects before editing on Final Cut Express. Design, animation, editing and sound effects by me.

Music:
Saint Saens, "Fossils" from The Carnival of the Animals.
Beethoven, "March of the Turks" from The Ruins of Athens.

I hope you like it! :)

  • Hope more people would combine art with science. This is very nice.
