The ISS was visible for about five minutes about 45 minutes after sunset. The only time it can be seen is within a few hours after sunset and a few hours before sunrise, otherwise it will be too deep in the earth's shadow because the sun is on the other side of the earth. It actually can be seen quite often.

Nice! Thanks for labeling it correctly, too many have posted their sightings as UFO sightings wich is just retarded. Wish people would put in the effort to not just believe whatever they want instead of researching what's going on.
