  • I just ordered a Kokin flute and cant wait to play it. Hopefully I can learn to be as good as you are. Practice makes perfect i guess but i look forward to the challange. Also I make flutes from bamboo so I am excited to start making these flutes myself. Peace to you.. a great video!! thank you for posting.

  • @shatomea thanks mate! it is a really nice flute to play. I envy you thou, you can make flutes! i wish i could! its one thing to play a flute but another to play a flute that has been created by your own hands! is it hard? i was thinking off just buying some bamboo from my local hardware or pvc and just going for it? what do u think?

  • I really like your improv here, but where does the birds effect come from?

  • @edsternet hey thank you!! i will do a Chinese Flute improv haven't had time at all and still need to fine tune my skills on the Chinese flute. The background bird music i got of youtube. I will soon post a chinese one, i also have a Kiowa love flute improv.

  • @antonioscheel Ok my friend I sent the private message. One thing I wanted to say is that PVC also works well but I've found that the bamboo is much better to work with. Smells better to when your drilling out the holes and your making some smoke :)

Also, you can buy a video from Erik the flutemaker who also shows the process & I follow many of his techniques except for how I make the holes. The dremel in my opinion works just as good as using a hot iron to bore them out. My way is faster to.

  • @antonioscheel - Its really not as hard as you might think it is. Im going to send you a private message so I can go into some detail on how I make them. I'd run out of room typing it out here. So look for my PM and I'll explain my process :)

  • very, VERY well done-really the sound I aspire to, so now you have me thinking about buying a new Kokin
