I'm extremely impressed. I wish I'd figured out some of this stuff on my own, before now I never knew about vortexing or reflecting Mundus' White Orb Attack. I just started playing again after 2 years and I never got a speed run near this good. Shows you how important research is. Thanks, bro, awesome run.

This is God when He is in a bad mood.

Holy S*&%
You are very good! I remember years ago when I fought Mundus on DMD....I went through like 2 PS2 controllers since I was getting so frustrated =_=;;

Your skills are truly impressive.

The other games follow this design: "Run up to the punching bag, and hack and slash it until it attacks in spite of this. Dodge, then repeat until dead." Yawn. And if you want any kind of "style" ranking, you have to mix in ALL of your attacks, especially the weaker ones that leave you open to counters.
And running up to most enemies in DMC1 is a good way to get your ass handed to you.

Dude I totally agree, they just stacked way too many moves in the latter games and less enemy A.I. no where near as good as the first game.

When he summons the dragon I think you can take it down with just one hit by slashing the fireballs it breathes at you for a ricochet hit.
-
How do you do the dragon attack thing on the Mundus 1 fight?

Speed runners are crazy, man. It's just a fact of life.
i am on mission 22 DMD, but i can't complete that mission... it's to hard.

You'll have to spend time learning to read Mundus' attacks and how to respond. He also behaves very randomly, which makes him a real bastard. His only regularity is hurling the spheres at you every minute or so.

4:43 - You were hit by a fireball and didn't lose any health... :/

All you have to do is keep moving forward, and the fireballs won't hit you. Being DTed makes that easy.
