Design in Action conference keynote speaker Teddy Cruz calls on designers to demand accountability of the municipality to invest in marginal neighborhoods and rethink bureaucratic silos while also calling for intelligent public spending on education, culture, and transportation and the re-invention of housing beyond abstract units. The crowd joins in reading these demands, then heads to City Hall to show solidarity with the Occupy Philadelphia movement.
