Hey guys, this is the final part of the relo. You will need T27 and T25 Torx keys, Scotch mounting tape, and a drag bar. As well as more loctite.

I highly recommend using SportingForLess (his username on eBay) . I bought bars from him and he was more than professional and customer service oriented. The bars are 28" with no rise, and I think about 3.5 to 4.5" pullback. I don't remember. For an '03 or later, you want 1" dimpled bars. I will explain why in the video.

Some comments now that I've had the opportunity to ride. The speedo practically doesn't vibrate at all. If you can, go 30 inches if you care about clearance. 28" cuts it really close. But when I'm riding it doesn't make much difference. B/C lean gets you through turns more than turning the bar.

The look is awesome, I love the feel. For you who've been on sportbikes, this really reminds me of my CBR 600RR (the feel of the ride). You lean alot more forward. It definitely takes some getting used to the new feeling, but overall I'm really happy with it.

Good luck and happy riding!

P.S. If I ever buy shorter cables, I'll do a vid on how to replace them.

P.S. I mention in the vid that I bought 4" cable ties for the cables on the handle bar. ONE, they don't fit, two, the setup is so short with 28's that you don't even need them, so don't spend the money, and if you do, go with longer zip ties.

  • An automated bracket... If you Chen out the other vids, I will list everything I use in the beginning... Hope it helps

  • @hawnd83 all your recent activity is negative commentary on other peoples' posts.

    Smile, be happy...

  • Awesome bro! Now do it for your friends and save them money too!

  • No. You don't have to cut them off. I show how to take them off in the video... thanks!

  • Yeah! I've seen the setup with hte risers, it looks good. glad it was useful for u! Ride safe bro

  • How hard was it to get the grips off?

  • @mj701603 Hey dude, thanks for the view. The grips were easy to get off. I loctite'd mine back on, so they probably won't be as easy next time, LOL.

Having an extra pair of hands to hold things in place probably wouldn't hurt.

  • Thanks for doing these 3 videos man. It has given me the confidence to do this mod on my bike. My only worry is that I have a 4.5 gallon tank and I'm afraid I wont be able to see the speedo.

  • nice job...

  • Flip them mirrors around and it will look even cleaner. Awesome video man

  • Nice bike! I was wondering if you changed your forward controls?

  • Nice looks good. What did you use to relocate the speedo?
