Overheated Wii? Here's what to do...

Well, my Wii is suffering from the overheating problems that suddenly seem to have cropped up. Just in the interest of giving people who have the same problem a taste of what to expect, here's a brief how-to video about the relatively painless process of sending your Wii back to NoA for repairs.

There's nothing really new here, but hopefully someone will find it helpful.

Any intercooler that actually draws power from the Wii itself can damage your system even more. Worse yet, if NOA figures out you've been using one (Some early models would sometimes leave distinctive scorch marks on the case) , they consider your warranty to be voided because you "modded" you Wii.

That's a risk I'm not personally willing to take, although I'll admit that I know some people who use Intercoolers and think they're the best thing since toast.

Hi, my wii is overheated and full bricked i want to send it for repair but are they delete all save games and other stuff on my wii?

I'd recommend backing up your saves to an SD card. As I recall, and honestly this was a couple years ago, I had to re-download my Virtual Console games when I got my Wii back. (I didn't have to pay for them a second time, I just had to download them again.)

Easy fix. Unplug it. Wait till it's cold. Plug it back in.

I am using a separate power supply for a cooling vacuum system I developed. Can'y use the wii without it.
