The Good Sisters of St Joseph, Chestnut Hill found this a favorite and had us kids in the St. Joseph The Carpenter Glee Club, learn it, in 1959. Later on, I found the circa 1940 Wayne King recording of this, also recorded on Victor, as was the 1919 version by the Joseph C. Smith Orchestra.

I have this by Fred Waring. Too bad about writer Joseph McCarthy's name; it's the same as the notorious 50s witch hunter.

I love this song so much.
My grandmother used to sing it to me and her mother sang it to her when she was little in the 1920's.
