Muslim in China - Part 1

This is a documentary about Muslims in China, living in the Xinjiang province.

Chinese tour guides say that Uighur people (Chinese Muslims) don't eat pig because pigs are their ancestors. This is belief very common in China, even amongst the "intellectuals". This oppression started years ago when the Chinese government published vast smounts of anti-Islamic propaganda that said, "Muslims don't eat pork because pig have saved their ancestors." As a result of these actions, there are still high tensions between Muslims and the Chinese governement.

Muslims do not eat Pigs, Humans do not eat Humans, therefore Muslims must be pigs.

No joke this is what my grandma (poh poh in Cantonese) told me.

On a serious note. China ruled that because the Abrahamic religions have no Chinese mentioned or Chinese people involved as main characters there not in China's best interest. True story!

@920attila Actually a pig is a very clean animal. Now Jews, And Early Christians were not allowed to eat pork. This is due to climate, as Pork isnt very good in HEAT conditions. THIS is the MAIN reason why Islam/Jewish/Early Christians do not eat it! However since then we developed a fridge
