California College Pathways- Stephanie's Story

Stephanie is a graduating senior at Cal Poly Pomona and a Renaissance Scholar. From age 1-17, Stephanie lived in ten foster homes and two group homes. As a young mother, Stephanie has instilled the love of education to her child. Stephanie says "college and being on my own has been tough. I have been homeless but I am a survivor because I chose not to give up on my dream of getting a college education." Stephanie plans to become a social worker and believes 'We all have a purpose and I have never given up on mine!"
