William Shatner is soooooooooo COOL, I have always liked him as an actor. To see him become Governor General of Canada or even better Prime Minister would be AWESOME.

Now, I remember that back int he 90's some McGill students did some Stage Treks. They played a couple of episodes like "Piece of the Action" on stage. Missed it all and don't live on Mtl, but is it a tradition, do they still do that ?

Having this degree obviously worked for you Bill as you have managed your career brilliantly! even tho some people don't like the way you did it...i.e Takei but he is SO WRONG!!

being raised in montreal shatner must speak fluent french yet i've never heard him speak a word on tv or in movies.

I only speculate, but I think that in good old Bill's time, it may represented higher level of accomplishment, than nowadays.
