  • I miss his old singing style (this style), I wish they had never gone to Bob Rock to do any albums.

  • I couldn't agree with you more. I'm a huge OLP fan..especially the OLP of the late 90's early 00's. Unfortunately I didn't really didn't start listening to them until after Gravity came out. Boy, what would I have given to be at a concert of theirs back in this era :(

  • To the people complaining about the pitch being off, it is - but most performers will be a bit off when performing in a massive venue like that just because .a) the acoustics aren't the same as a recording room (too much echo) b) probably can't hear themselves over the crowd

  • I love O.L.P!!! He is amazing live!!! :) <3

  • @TandJgaming It's "their", not there.

  • @bcortens well there getting old its bound to happen but there new stuff isnt bad

  • Old OLP rocks!

  • @runnersdialzero33 True, if you listen to any Justin Beiber song you can tell his voice has been heavily corrected whereas with Raine you can't. Though I have been in studios and seen people playing with the melodyne, you could make johnny cash sound like taylor swift if you wanted haha

  • @888greg888 Eh - pitch correction, autotune etc. can only take you so far. You have to at least be within the ballpark of the actual note being sung for pitch correction to really sound decent and convincing. And no amount of digital trickery in the world can make someone with lousy tone sound like they have great tone, either.

  • @runnersdialzero33 While I love OLP I might have to correct you on that. You CAN make anyone in the studio sound good with Melodyne or other pitch correctors, and also they can do multiple takes. Many modern artists suck live. OLP is not one of them.

  • What is Mike Turner up to these days? I think his departure had more of an effect on OLP's sound than Bob Rock did.

  • @pirateradioman He's inconsistent at worst, but he has plenty of great live performances to his name. And I'm sorry, if you can well sing on record, you can sing well period. Singing live is a totally different situation and environment, most singers sound quite different in both settings.
