  • Congratulations, Brian...both on receiving tenure and on a great video.

    John and Julie Harland

  • I only hope that my own tenure video in a couple of years can compete with this!

    Congrats!!

    Gina

  • Wow! I don't even know you and I'm proud of you! Congratulations!

  • Much congratulations, man!!

Now that THAT'S out of the way, on to my equally relevant and important comment:

I've been rollerblading for years, and still have yet to master the whirly-whirl! You truly are a master...I hereby grant you the title of Master Professor Blade Donovan.

And please use your power wisely.

    Darren

  • Congratulations! Nice video (and your book is good, too)!

  • On behalf of many, many faculty, may I just say that I could die of an ongoing combination of laughter (it hurts!) and insane jealousy that I didn't do something like this. Well done!!!

  • Now I want one on my website! Congrats on tenure and the announcement video. Rock on.

  • Congrats Brian! Bouncers erect -- The rage has begun! Nice editing too. -Dom

  • Very well done Brian! I noticed some Natalie influence in there-Jesus Christ Superstar- That RollerSkate movie with linda Blair-other assorted 70's 80's classic- Very Impressed!

  • Montage!

It takes a montage, Montage! Show a lot of things happening at once, Montage! Remind everyone of what's going on, Montage! And with every shot show a little improvement, Montage! To show it all would take too long, that's called a montage..Montage! Girl, we want a montage, Montage! In anything, if you want to go from just a beginner to a pro, you need a montage!

The beginner has turned pro. Sweet.

    It's all about praxis!

    Even Rocky had a montage!

    MONTAGE!
