@phe2003 The New Yorker Hotel had scheduled the bath in our room to get re-enamelled, the company contracted to do the work could not make the arranged day and had to do the enamelling earlier than planned, so we had to be moved (",) that is how we acquired an upgrade (",)

I was in a room directly below yours on the 35th floor. Same view almost... except the top of the building across the road partially obscured my view of lower Manhattan. Still a great view and a great hotel overall.

Great to see this again. Last October I stayed there, one floor up on the 40th. The view was just amazing. I never closed the curtains, going to bed with this view, waking up with this view.....just amazing.
