  • I think it's tricks ain't working no more.

  • @imaonarseal another song with nearly this exact melody is "get your yas yas out" by blind boy fuller

  • @imaonarseal this melody is exactly replicated in the song 'If You Don't Give Me What I Want' BY Blind Boy Fuller watch?v=vqp9yoAP97Y

Robert Johnson's "They're Red Hot" also is quite close. watch?v=-UTC5-W7fAg

that lyric isnt in those songs, but the melody is identical, so you could perhaps ask over there as well and maybe somebody watching that video could tell you

  • @imaonarseal Southern can is mine from Blind Willie Mctell?

  • thanks again! keep up the good work....

  • This melody is exactly replicated in another song, anyone know? It goes something like, "Before you try and tell on me, I've got somethin on you". I had it on a blues compilation years ago. I can't remember it now. I think I heard Eric Clapton doing a version once. Any ideas?

  • Very Blake, & damn fine too,

    G

  • nice find!
