The Port Olimpic is a lively area with a wide range of restaurants, terraces and bars where you can try traditional Spanish seafood dishes or have a late-night drink and enjoy great views of the Mediterranean and Barcelona. The citys casino is also nearby, below the Hotel Arts, one of the two water-front towers which dominate the port area. During the day it is possible to rent a sail boat from the marina.

In the opposite direction, heading away from the beaches, youll find Parque Ciutadella, the largest park in Central Barcelona, complete with boating lake, monumental fountains and hundreds of towering palm trees, offering a shady location for a summer-time picnic.
