Thank you for taking your time to do this. The video would be better if you had a light on it, but anyone with half a brain, who would attempt this, should know how to remove drives, etc. To all those who had nasty comments, I hope you find happiness. Must be miserable to always be negative.

For the love of god, if your going to shoot a tutorial video on how to do something in which visual aid is necessarily please. oh please use adequate lighting. This is barely useful.

it while its siting on your table rather than just leaving it in there.... if a static discharge is what you are worried about its the processor that will get damaged any way, not the hard drive (unless its a solid state drive)....to minimize that risk just take out the motherboard system button cell battery , the main battery (of course unplug it too ) and don't stand or work on a carpeted surface (so when you move about you don't generate a static charge)

i have an E1705 too ;) any way , why would you take the hard drive out....if your worried about something happening to the data , there is a greater chance of something happening to

@elitelord I don't know if you still want this but I have an acer 4920 and I tightened the hinge by screwing in the screws (covered by rubber) around the screen (especially the bottom 2)

Will IT WORK ON A DELL inspiron 1525
GalwayChick 1 year ago
@GalwayChick From what I've been told, it generally does. You should ask @donkashmoney. That person had an Inspiron 1525, and was able to fix their system.
