Great interview. What the US, NATO and the West along with certain Mideast nations and Israel have done to try to destroy Syria has made me ashamed to call myself an American. These sick and twisted values are nothing of what I stand for. How can this sickness go on? The media is twisting the the story to the people in the US. 40,000 dead and increasing. To what end?

So, how would all the countries that receive financial aide, etc. from the US do? How will they be able to take care of themselves? My country is in a financial crisis and it would do us good to stop that aide but the USA is not like that!

If that were the case, he'd have already fallen. In fact, tho many Syrians have serious issues with the regime he inherited, they back Bashar Assad. 58% of Syrians voted 89% in favor of proposed constitutional changes which would see Syria transformed from a monarchy to a parliamentarian democracy.
