  • dont think a national TV programme would fabricate a test on what is a peice of safety equipment....but i agree it's not the clearest. Regardless, the Ribcap uses d3o which will be industry standard in many safety applications soon so it must do the job.

  • Anyone who takes that as empirical determination is a complete nause

  • lol. fail demonstration.

  • They should have doen the test of a athletic protector and then did kicks tot he testicles.....that would be a practical use

  • check out my videos for a new impact aborption material that can be used to make a flexible armour suit

  • d3o its a great hi-tech gel but this test is obviously inadequate, he hit the unprotected melon 3x harder.

  • This is the future, lol, 3 years later and it still hasnt caught on.

  • and i thought the one on the right had d3o inside it. cool

  • the molecule dont "not move" they lock together.

  • I think it might be more applicable like say, In joints to prevent hyperextension or something.

Like ever caught a ball and hyperextended your finger?

Or in sports accidents, to help prevent your body from just flailing out of control.

  • you would break every bone in your body, but will have 0 bruises ))
