  • anyone the name to the song being played in the vid? plz let me kno

  • It is a shame...It is not capoeira .It is a kind of DANCE,JUMP...I don´t know.May be LUTA REGIONAL BAIANA.Capoeira is POPULAR CULTUERE.IT IS CULTURA PRA PULAR"JUMP"BRASILEIRA.

  • cultura pra pular brasileira

  • Breaking don't came from capoeira. OMG so stupid ideas... Breaking came from breaking, from evolution of dance. Rocking is different from bboying by the way,it is shitty way of breaking from oldschool gang members in Bronx. But let's talk about capoeira as martial arts. For me capoeira is not martial arts, because mirko cro cop would take any fighter representing capoeira :D

  • @Mattrixx . .R U saying that top rocking came soley from rocking and had nothing to do with the ginga.? The fact remains that I talk to alot of breakers and it seems sadly prevalant in that culture that none of them have a clue as to where the origins of breakin come from let alone the song they are dancing to. alot of foot loose and fancy free theories abound as to breakings origins . Capoeirista know where they come from and their history. what can breakin' contribute to capo? really?

  • polska :) :D

  • Muito Foreio forte um atras do Outro , Parabens....

  • But you say it like Q and Alex brought that stuff into capoeira.

    like they're a major influence...

    sorry.

  • Oh, cool that's from Poland.. how could I miss that :( ?!

  • Things mix, it's OK. It pushes both artforms to continue to develop. Bimba added takedowns and cintura desprezada. Why? Development. When money from the tourism department and foreigners started pouring in, the "show" capoeira developed more. When bboying became prevalent, even though it may have been influenced by Capoeira, there weren't many capoeiristas doing a bunch of headspins/handspins in the roda. Development. They wanted pretty moves, that may even be counter-intuitive in the roda.
